How to Check Expired Domains for Spam
Hi All,
I’m back with another video this week. This time I’m going through my process of how I check expired domains for incoming spam. If you’re looking to find high PR domains using expired domains for a private network, it can be difficult to screen them all so that they will index properly. One of the dangers of buying expired domains is that they might have spam anchor text links from bad neighbourhoods, so it might mean that Google won’t index them and you’ve bought a dud. My video shows how I go about checking for spam, and although it’s not an exact science, I think it’ll help you in your way to filtering out as many bad domains as possible.

Great video. The wayback trick at the end helped me. Im just starting out and havent subscribed to ahrefs or opensiteexplorer. Have you made a video or post on what to do with the domain after you purchase. (building, linking to money site, ….) I know Hayden has but it would be nice to get a second view.
Hi Nick,
I haven’t made a post on that but I’ll definitely consider it. Although I think it’s a little more straightforward than finding the domain in the first place.
